Why should I become a member? Simply put, to be a part of something greater than what any one person or agency can accomplish on his/her own.
- Contribute to the development of a citywide movement to support the early education and healthy development of all of Boston’s children.
- Get access to neighborhood based and citywide resources that support early education, early literacy and support families as their child’s first and most important teacher.
- Be part of a mobilizing force for public policy advocacy and change.
- Get access to information about training and professional development; resources for family support; and information about parent education classes.
Who is membership open to? The membership of the Boston Community Partnerships for Children is open to anyone who is interested in advancing the mission and goals of the organization.
What is my role as a member? The membership body confirms the strategic direction set forth by the Governing Board, elects Governing Board members, and approves changes to the by-laws. Members are encouraged to participate in partnership meetings, events and activities.
